The History: Why this site?

It was 2007 when I purchased my first Pokémon game: Pokémon Pearl. It was not possible to put it down, I replayed the game numerous times. Soon after, we discovered the Pokémon trading card game, and starting buying theme decks and opening packs. We eventually starting going to our local Pokémon league as we became more intrigued by the game.

Further, we even began to participate in the tournaments hosted by TPCI. Going to the tournaments was one of the most exciting feelings I can remember. I was incredibly invested in the game that later I managed to qualify for the Pokémon world championships in 2015.

After the events of the pandemic, I shifted focus towards the trading card game. I noticed the newer cards. They appeared strange at first, but in the end looked interesting and creative to me.

To this day, I still maintain the same level of excitement and interest in the franchise of Pokémon. I am awed by its continued incremental growth and its ability to improve and make itself interesting every year.
